PalArt — Art for Palestine Auction
Linda M R Travers Smith
“I started painting in 1976, mainly self taught. Studied with an outstanding artist in Washinton DC, where I discovered the excitement of using bright pure watercolour. As I travelled extensively in the USA, my interest lies in flora and fauna and landscape. On return to England, I wanted to share my enthusiasm and skill with people.
“Once I returned to England permanently, I started teaching watercolour in Buckinghamshire and am currently teaching 4 classes a week.
I continue to travel with my husband for inspiration and painting subjects, including the rain forests of Costa Rica and Africa. My love of wildlife and wonderful scenery never wains. My garden has always a tremendous source of inspiration too, planting flowers and shrubs in order to paint them.
“I am a member of the Society of Women Artists, The Wildlife Art Society International and The Visual Images Group .”
