PalArt — Art for Palestine Auction

Piers Browne is one of the foremost etchers of natural landscapes in Britain today. From his roots in Shropshire and his home in North Yorkshire he paints and etches as he says 99% of the time. Laurie MacLaren of Highgate Contemporary Art says of his work “Piers always paints with fervour conveying with force and extreme care what he truly loves”. His vision of nature and his treatment of light in the different seasons is a treat to behold. This fine etching views Askrigg from the crow’s nest of his apple tree centred upon the Mistletoe with the tiny but distinctive tower of St Oswald’s church down in the valley below.
